Related Articles Back to Document About Us Live Chat with Inspira Advisor Welcome From The President Welcome to myHealth Patient Portal The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) initiated an IRS Code requiring tax-exempt hospitals (501 c 3) to complete a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) once every three years. The CHNA’s include input from the geographic area that each hospital serves, and, they must be representative of the community-at-large. The process must include input from a range of professionals with public health expertise. In addition to the CHNA, implementation strategies must accompany the assessments and the strategies must address the community perceived health needs. The Inspira Medical Center Vineland (Cumberland County, NJ), Inspira Medical Center Elmer (Salem County, NJ) and Inspira Medical Center Woodbury (Gloucester County, NJ ) conducted a Community Health Needs Assessment in each of their respective counties.
