Who we are: 

Inspira Health CME operates under the direction of the Director of Continuing Medical Education in collaboration with the Physician Advisor to CME, CME Committee, consisting of members from Administration, Medical Staff of varying specialties, the CME Coordinator, ancillary healthcare personnel, as well as members from the Performance Improvement and Education Departments.

What we do:

Provide quality continuing medical education programs that assist physicians, residents and students in acquiring the knowledge and skills needed to deliver quality healthcare to the population we serve. 

Our education activities will enhance the clinical and diagnostic skills of our practitioners with the goal of increased practice compliance and continuous improvement in patient care.

What we address:

The content areas for our activities include:

  • Topics requested by practitioners
  • New advances in medical care
  • Core measures as required for regulatory compliance
  • Performance Improvement issues identified though ongoing chart/institutional review
  • Peer review
  • Strategic quality initiatives identified by the Hospital

Who can attend?

The target audience for our CME program includes primary care and specialty care physicians, residents and students in our service area and surrounding communities.  We encourage allied health professionals to attend any and all activities relevant to their educational needs.

In order to accomplish the goals of the CME program, we offer a range of activity formats that appeal to many learning styles and ensure the methods of education align appropriately with the content being addressed.  Such activities include:

CME Accreditation:

Inspira Health is accredited by the Medical Society of New Jersey to provide continuing medical education credits for physicians. 

Inspira Health is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Is there a fee?

Registration fees vary per activity.  Any registration fees associated with an activity will be noted on the course description.
