Inspira Medical Center Vineland’s Emergency Department offers a Nurse Residency Training Program for recent graduates looking to gain real-world experience in emergency nursing. The program is fast-paced and demanding, but uniquely rewarding for nurses with the ability to respond rapidly and effectively to patient needs.
Based in a state-of-the-art medical center built in 2004, the program offers nurses the opportunity to train alongside experienced emergency nurses. Inspira Medical Center Vineland is a designated Magnet® facility for quality patient care, nursing excellence and innovations in professional nursing practice by the American Nurses Credential Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program®.
Program Scope:

18 week program
-
150 hours of classroom instruction
-
500 hours of clinical training with a preceptor
-
Scenario based training in state-of-the-art simulation center
Courses include Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, dysrhythmia, critical care and topics in emergency nursing
Applicant Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

Bachelor of Science in Nursing required or obtained by December 31, 2019

Current registration with New Jersey Board of Nursing

Current NJ RN License required
-
American Heart Healthcare Provider CPR required
-
Previous Emergency Department technician or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) experience preferred

Demonstrates clinical knowledge, nursing competence, basic leadership skills and decision-making ability
