ELMER, NJ (March 25) – SJH Elmer Hospital has been recognized with an Excellence Through Insight award by HealthStream Research for “Overall Outpatient Satisfaction.” The hospital was awarded this honor for its commitment to excellent patient satisfaction in several departments including Same-day Surgery, Radiology, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and the Laboratory. The Endoscopy unit at the hospital was also recognized for its overall satisfaction scores.
SJH Elmer Hospital was chosen in the “Small Hospital Category” for receiving the highest ratings in satisfaction from among HealthStream Research’s clients, as well as for exceeding industry standards. To qualify for an Excellence Through Insight award, a hospital must have been a patient satisfaction-tracking client of HealthStream in 2009 and scored in the 75th percentile or higher.
