Through the sheer sweetness of her personality, Gypsy encourages heart failure patients to walk more often and to take more steps, helping them to feel better and return home sooner. As a registered therapy dog, she is measurably improving the health and well-being of patients. And now as a result of her success, Gypsy is the star of a nursing research study recently published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing, a respected peer-reviewed nursing journal.
