SAYREVILLE, NJ, December 20, 2010 - New Jersey’s outstanding nurses were honored by the March of Dimes New Jersey Chapter on December 4th at the Pines Manor in Edison. The gala raised funds to
support the March of Dimes giving every baby a healthy start campaign.
Abate has exemplified the attributes necessary to be a clinical expert in the area of critical care nursing as well as a positive role model and leader in the field of nursing. She has made a significant contribution to the lives of families in New Jersey.
The gala, sponsored by, Amerihealth New Jersey, Chilton Memorial Hospital, Hackensack University Medical Center, Horizon, Hunterdon Medical Center, Capital Health, Jersey City Medical Center, Johnson and Johnson’s Campaign for Nursing’s Future, Kennedy Health System, Meridian, Newton Memorial Hospital, Raritan Bay Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, South Jersey Healthcare, St. Mary’s Hospital, The Huber Foundation, UMDNJ Foundation and Virtua, featured dinner, a cocktail reception and an auction.
