GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ (November 4, 2015) – Inspira Health Network and Cooper University Health Care celebrated the opening of a new multi-specialty health care center in Glassboro at a ribbon cutting on Monday.

The new Inspira Health Center Glassboro and Cooper Bone and Joint Institute at Inspira Woodbury office will provide members of the community and Rowan University students with easy access to outpatient health services. Estimated to cost approximately $1.9 million, the 27,500 square-foot center is located within the newest building constructed as part of the Rowan Boulevard redevelopment project.

“This new health care complex really speaks to the needs and preferences of health care consumers, and it illustrates the transformation that is taking place in health care today,” said John DiAngelo, president and CEO of Inspira Health Network. "Together, Inspira and Cooper are working to bring co-located services, extended hours, clinical expertise, and timely care all in one convenient location.”

Featured services, will include:
  • Primary care
  • Urgent care
  • Orthopedics, including physical therapy
  • Medical imaging – including larger, wide-bore MRI
  • Behavioral wellness
“As a hospital with a long history and deep roots in this community, Inspira is an ideal partner for Cooper,” said Adrienne Kirby, PhD, FACHE, president and CEO of Cooper University Health Care. “We are proud to work together, to provide access to the expertise and skills of the professionals at both Inspira and the Cooper Bone and Joint Institute.”

In addition to primary care, urgent care, orthopedics, and medical imaging, the expansion of Inspira’s behavioral wellness services in Glassboro will aim to fill the increasing need for access to outpatient mental health care in South Jersey. At the new Behavioral Wellness Center, nationally recognized psychiatrists from the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine will provide treatment to adolescents and adults for a wide range of conditions through individual therapy, family therapy and group therapy sessions.

The center will officially open to the public on November 9. Inspira Health Center Glassboro is located at 200 Rowan Boulevard across from the Barnes & Noble bookstore.
