NJ Cancer Registry Honors Inspira Frank and Edith Scarpa Regional Cancer Pavilion with Silver Award

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NJ (March 15, 2016) – The New Jersey State Cancer Registry recently presented Inspira’s Frank and Edith Scarpa Regional Cancer Pavilion with the Silver Award for Excellence in Timely and Complete Cancer Case Reporting for the year 2014. The cancer pavilion, located at Inspira Medical Center Vineland, is one of only two facilities in the state to achieve this honor.

Facilities that achieved recognition by the NJ State Cancer Registry have met rigorous benchmarks in three categories, including completeness, timeliness, and quality.

“We are very pleased to have been recognized by the state’s Cancer Registry,” said Judy Neuman, director of Cancer Services at Inspira Health Network. “Our team at the Frank and Edith Scarpa Regional Cancer Pavilion continually strives to provide the community with high quality care and this recognition is a direct reflection on their dedication.”

Inspira Health Network provides community members with access to comprehensive cancer care at the Frank and Edith Scarpa Regional Cancer Pavilion in Vineland and Inspira Medical Center Woodbury.
