Inspira offers a number of AHEC programs to help educate and enrich people interested in health and health care.
Garden AHEC offers several programs to a variety of populations in the local area.
Here are some of the programs we currently offer:
Continuing Education Programs for Health Care Professionals
Garden Area Health Education Center is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the New Jersey State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Provider number: P88-10/2021
Future Health Professionals
Future Health Professionals is a seven-week online BlackBoard course designed to provide local high school students with information and knowledge on the health care industry, including the exploration of various health care careers. Food for Thought is a live program led by a licensed dietician who provides students with education on healthy eating habits through discussion and visual demonstrations. Due to COVID-19, we are offering an online version of this program through BlackBoard. For more information, please contact Taquan Carey.
