Read MoreEach year, nearly 20 million Americans battle a substance use disorder. If you or a loved one suffer from drug or alcohol addiction, know that you’re not alone. When the grip of addiction takes hold, it can be extremely difficult to stop using on your own—Inspira is here to help you with your journey to recovery.
Our Approach to Addiction Services
Studies show that substance use disorder treatment reduces drug use by 40 to 60 percent. Inspira’s multidisciplinary treatment teams deliver compassionate and supportive care in an environment that respects each patient’s dignity, independence and unique personal needs.
In treatment, those with addiction learn skills, gain knowledge and receive resources to manage their disease. Success or progress for addiction treatment is viewed through a holistic lens, taking all physical, emotional, spiritual and mental health aspects into account.
Our providers acknowledge that while relapses may happen, recovery is a journey. Managing a chronic addiction is no simple task, and what works for one person may not work for another. Inspira is here to address each person’s specific needs, including support for mental health disorders and guidance for improving overall health.
Addiction Services Offered
At Inspira, our dedicated addiction services team is well-versed in the intricacies of substance use. Our specialists are trained to recognize the distinct challenges patients suffering from addiction face. We are proud to participate in the Opiate Overdose Recovery Program (OORP), a state initiative where patients who arrive at the Emergency Department in Vineland or Bridgeton with a substance use issue meet with an addiction services team member for education and are linked with case management and treatment services, if desired.
Our treatment services include two main outpatient programs:
A dual-diagnosis program that offers services to those who struggle with both mental health and substance abuse issues. The program provides traditional outpatient services which include weekly, hour-long individual, family and group sessions.
A dual-diagnosis mental health and substance use program. Patients typically attend for three hours per day, two to three times per week. The program offers a combination of psychotherapy and psycho-educational groups in a safe, caring environment. Participants work on gaining insights into both their mental health and addiction issues to improve coping skills.
What Sets Inspira’s Addiction Services Apart
At Inspira, we believe in treating the whole person—our specialists are equipped to treat patients across the entire behavioral health spectrum, wherever they are in their journey to recovery. We strive to personalize a treatment plan that’s perfect for you, with options including outpatient partial care, intensive outpatient therapy and wellness and recovery support programs.
Inspira has also limited the prescription of benzodiazepine drugs, a common medication used to reduce alcohol withdrawal symptoms that is addictive in its own right. We understand how important it is to fight addiction in all forms, which is why we’re committed to avoiding drugs or treatments that could pose additional risks to your health and wellbeing.
