  • The Philosophy for Patient Care is shared and supported by all employees at Inspira Health (Inspira). Each patient is recognized as an individual, within the context of the family and community. Using the Neuman’s Systems Model www.neumansystemsmodel.org allows the Department of Nursing to provide a holistic patient care delivery approach that strengthens the patient’s reaction to environmental stressors by addressing their physiological, psychological, spiritual and social needs. Care can then be delivered in the most appropriate setting of the continuum through effective communication and collaborative efforts of the Department of Nursing, Patient Care Services, ancillary departments and medical staff. This collaborative philosophy and approach to patient care further supports the values of the organization.

Our Nursing mission:  The mission for the Nursing Department is to achieve excellence in the delivery of patient care and to positively impact the health and well being of the patients we serve and our community.

Our Nursing vision:  The Nursing Department’s vision is to deliver the highest quality patient care as the leader in the South Jersey region in the professional practice of nursing.  This will be accomplished by developing “best practices” supported by evidence based research and creating an environment that attracts and retains highly qualified professional nurses.

Our Nursing  values:  The values of Inspira Health are Quality, Partnership, Empowerment, Integrity, Stewardship, and compassion.  Nursing “Road to Excellence” Strategic Plan identifies seven goals that compliment the Inspira strategic plan of “going from good to great.”
