Current Opportunities…

Today’s volunteers offer rich and varied contributions.Your experience, skills and special interests will be considered in finding you the right volunteer position. Below is a partial list of current openings:

  • Administrative - Administrative and clerical duties
  • Customer Service - Meet/Greet visitors, escort to areas requested
  • Gift Shop - Assist in the retail area, cashier
  • Laundry - Assist in transporting clean linen to various areas
  • Patient Engagement - Assist with patient related services, visiting, discharging via wheelchair
  • Spiritual Care - Provide visits for emotional support
  • Volunteer Center - Assist volunteer staff with various activities from clerical to patient related

There is an application process required for each volunteer. Once your application has been accepted, the staff will help you determine an area of interest and a schedule that is suitable to your needs.

Volunteers must also complete health screen requirements and attend a general hospital orientation before beginning their service at Inspira. Among other requirements, the flu vaccine is mandatory for all active volunteers.
