More than 220 participants were in attendance on Wednesday at Seaview Hotel & Golf Club in support of Inspira Foundation Cumberland/Salem’s 2019 Golf and Tennis Tournament. This year, the annual tournament raised more than $240,000 to help support the health and wellness of communities in Cumberland and Salem counties. All proceeds benefit Inspira Foundation Cumberland/Salem and the “Invest. Impact. Inspire.” capital campaign to transform health care services throughout southern New Jersey.
(L – R) Inspira Hospital Board Chair Gary Galloway, Inspira Health Board Vice Chair Ronald Rossi and Sam Pipitone Jr., president and CEO of F&S Produce Co., Inc., enjoy the tournament.
“We thank our generous and dedicated tournament participants, who help Inspira advance innovative projects and initiatives that address southern New Jersey’s greatest health care needs,” said Jessica Kowal, Chief Development Officer of Inspira Health. “The funds we raise support Inspira’s leading-edge cancer program, growing residency program, and community health initiatives that address addiction, food insecurity, homelessness, health care access for underserved populations, and much more.”
Event sponsors include Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, Gateway Community Action Partnership, Cerner, the Inspira Medical Staff of Bridgeton, Elmer, and Vineland, Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, Radiology Business Solutions, and Harmelin Media. With November in full swing, and the holiday on the horizon, we are reminded that the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, this year December 1, has traditionally been set as the National Day of Giving. Except, this year has been like no other.
Nearly 130 golfers showed their support for Inspira Health Foundation during challenging times by teeing off in the Foundation’s annual Golf Classic, presented by Archer Law, at Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield.
