The ALS Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the ALS service line in accordance with all laws, regulations, or Inspira policies and procedures. The ALS Operations manager must uphold all the duties listed under the paramedic job description. Additionally, the ALS Operations Manager serves as an exemplar of ethical management practices and actively cultivates a positive patient experience that aligns seamlessly with Inspira Health's mission, vision, and values. Attends all mandatory meetings, complete all required network certifications and tasks within the allotted time. Will assist in the onboarding process of all new employees and work collaboratively with the other leaders to grow and strengthen the department within the communities we serve.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate degree is preferred or already in enrolled.
  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of five years supervisory/management experience.
  • Ten years' experience in pre-hospital care and transport required.

Certification/ Licensure:

Required:

  • NJ EMT-Paramedic or NJ endorsed Mobile Intensive Care Nurse or certification eligible for NJ Reciprocity certifcation within 90 days. Candidate will maintain all required licensure/certifictions as defined as defined in NJAC 8:40, 8:41.
  • Incident Command Certifications: 100, 200, 300, 700, 800
  • Valid state issued Driver's License

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Demonstrates strong leadership and educational abilities.
