MAJOR FUNCTION:

Collaborates with customers; create test plans; Enhance Functionality of System with minimal assistance: Active role is demonstrated in the orientation and training of new system users; current knowledge of regulatory compliance and applies prior knowledge to recommend, improve and implement system changes where applicable; participates in internal PI initiatives.

This position supports patient accounting; prior experience with Soarian Financials and billing knowledge is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • Associate degree in computer science or related specialty required. In lieu of Associate degree, will consider 3-5 years’ experience in related specialty.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, specific service/clinical discipline, or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in managing IS related projects required.
  • Experience with PCs and networking as required.

Certification/Licensure:

  • NA

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong expertise in multiple healthcare applications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications.
