An Important Message from Amy Mansue

An Important Message from Amy Mansue

Sep 7, 2020

As I begin my first few days as President & CEO of Inspira Health, I cannot help but to feel immediately inspired by what I see. Tireless dedication from physicians, nurses and staff. Innovation around every corner. A community constantly rallying around each other. This is why I was thrilled to be offered the opportunity to join the Inspira Family.

Amy Mansue

I’ve spent nearly three decades in the health care industry in New Jersey, most recently focused on patient and family engagement. I believe that the voice of the patient – your stories, your experiences – is what drives the future of health care. It’s how we listen, learn, innovate and adapt so we can continually deliver superior care. I look forward to meeting with patients and listening to their stories firsthand. Every patient’s health care journey is different, but at Inspira, we will continue to elevate the patient experience and always put safety first.

Patient safety has always been, and will continue to be, our number one priority. Over the past few months, Inspira’s commitment to quality and care has never been more apparent. Significant investments in PPE; new safety protocols, above and beyond our existing measures as a high reliability organization; and innovative resources to reduce the spread of COVID-19 have helped keep our patients and our staff safe during the pandemic. Whether you’re getting an annual check-up, visiting an urgent care center, delivering your first bundle of joy, or anything in between, Inspira is here for you.

As the Regional Coordinator in Central New Jersey, appointed by Governor Murphy, I closely collaborated with hospitals and health care providers in the region to help ensure that all residents received the care they required. Inspira has done just that, fiercely taking care of its patients and staff during this global crisis. I will look forward to working with the health care leaders in the Southern region to continue the commitment to the safety of all.

This is a pivotal moment for health care organizations around the world, and despite the financial challenges we are all facing, Inspira is well-positioned to continue to expand access to care and innovate. In the past few years alone, Inspira has grown significantly to enhance its quality care in the community.

The expansion of the Vineland hospital, the opening of Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill and adjacent Leading-Edge Cancer Center, and the addition of new specialties across several service lines, such as oncology, are just a few of the many milestones to expand access to high-quality care right in our backyard. In addition, the launch of the Innovation Center has generated and funded several initiatives rooted in patient-focused technologies and programs that have supported patients in their health care journeys.

This is the groundwork for an innovative health care network committed to delivering a superior patient experience. I wish my predecessor John DiAngelo a heartfelt congratulations on his retirement and thank him for his countless contributions to both this organization and this community. My appreciation to Chairman Ron Rossi and the Board of Director’s confidence in me to build upon the incredible foundation created. And I look forward to building on that foundation for our patients – for all of you.

It is a privilege and an honor to serve you and the South Jersey community. Until we may have the chance to meet, stay safe and be well.
