BAYADA at Inspira to offer home care and hospice services in three counties

Jun 1, 2016

MULLICA HILL, NJ (June 1, 2016) – BAYADA Home Health Care and Inspira Health Network formally announced the launch of a new joint venture this week. BAYADA at Inspira will now offer home care and hospice services to patients in Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties.

The organizations partnered to create BAYADA at Inspira to enhance the quality of home care and hospice services in the region, while expanding the number of people that they both can serve.

“The health care environment is changing, and hospitals have a vested interest in the success of their patients post-discharge,” said J. Mark Baiada, founder and president of BAYADA Home Health Care. “With 41 years of expertise in home health care, we are seen by many hospitals and health systems as a valuable resource to help keep their patients safe at home. We are committed to partnering with organizations like Inspira—which share a similar mission and values to ours—to manage the care for post-acute patients and other community residents with compassion, excellence, and reliability.”

“BAYADA at Inspira offers a great benefit to our organizations and our community,” said John DiAngelo, president and CEO of Inspira Health Network. “We share a common goal to provide our patients with excellent home care and hospice services.”

The joint venture will operate from offices in Woodbury and Millville and will be managed by BAYADA, a national multi-specialty home health and hospice care company with 41 years of expertise. Inspira has also provided quality home care and hospice services in the region for decades, and now has the ability to serve more patients in their service area through BAYADA at Inspira.

“BAYADA is an excellent partner to help us enhance the services that we provide,” DiAngelo said. “Home health and hospice care are vital services for our neighbors. Due to regulations, Inspira was unable to provide some of these services in Gloucester County. Now by partnering with an experienced provider like BAYADA, we can serve more patients and enhance the quality of services we provide to our community.”

BAYADA at Inspira’s Home Health services will provide short-term nursing, rehabilitative, therapeutic, and assistive care to the community. BAYADA at Inspira Hospice will offer quality end-of-life care that allows patients to remain at home with comfort, grace, and dignity.
