Inspira EMS Department's Education Section Earns Accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education

Jun 9, 2021

On June 2, the Inspira Health EMS Department Education Section received accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE) for its continuing education programs. Accreditation by CAPCE ensures all continuing education offerings from Inspira meet a number of rigorous standards, including evaluations, active medical direction and oversight, and quality infrastructure.

CAPCE is an accrediting board that reviews and accredits EMS continuing education programs and courses. The organization’s goal is to provide EMS workers with access to high-quality, standard-driven continuing education that also provides credit for those educational activities.

“Achieving this accreditation was no easy task,” said Mark Chapman, Director of EMS and Ground Transport at Inspira. “All of the members of the EMS Department Education Section are to be commended on their efforts in achieving this goal.”

“An accreditation from CAPCE is a true indicator of the hard work and dedication Inspira’s EMS Department Education Section continues to exemplify,” said Amy Mansue, President & CEO of Inspira Health. “I am proud of our staff who spearheaded this project to ensure Inspira’s continuing education programs continue to meet rigorous standards and provide our EMS workers with high-quality educational offerings.”
