Inspira Health Appoints New Assistant Vice President of Oncology Service Line

Inspira Health today announced the appointment of Lynne McShay, MHA, as the new Assistant Vice President of its Oncology Service Line. She will oversee Inspira’s nationally accredited cancer programs and comprehensive cancer centers in Vineland and Mullica Hill. Inspira’s cancer services date back to 1979 and now include medical, radiation and surgical oncology specialists, and an active clinical trials program.

McShay brings more than 25 years of experience in the health care industry to Inspira, most recently serving as the director of Operations for the Abramson Cancer Center at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Her comprehensive knowledge of the oncology service line and extensive experience with both hospital and physician practice operations will support future growth and sharpen Inspira’s focus on meeting the oncology needs of South Jersey. McShay’s expertise also includes the development of tumor-site-specific strategies, high-functioning teams, and collaborative efforts with physicians.

In her new role, McShay is responsible for the overall growth and development of the oncology service line, including coordination, development, physician relations and strategic planning for the program. She will also maintain direct oversight of oncology related operations across the network and actively identify and evaluate growth opportunities based on health care trends.

McShay holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Drexel University, as well as a Master of Science degree in healthcare administration and operations from Capella University. She has received multiple certifications from the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania) Executive Education Program, including operations management, financial accounting, leading organizational change, finance for executives, and women’s executive leadership.
