Partnering with Patients to Express Gratitude

Mar 9, 2022

Inspira Health Foundation recognizes the impact that gratitude can have on a patient’s healing process, and how it can make you, our doctors, feel recognized, appreciated and more enthusiastic about your work.

This Doctors Day, Inspira Health Foundation is providing patients and community members with the opportunity to express gratitude toward their caregivers. We're sharing our appreciation by welcoming patients to share their stories or make donations to Inspira Health Foundation in your honor.

Expressions of gratitude:

“The morning of January 16, I was admitted to the emergency department at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. My doctor, Samantha DeLuca, was the familiar, calming force I needed at a time when I felt very alone, scared and helpless. She showed me so much compassion and concern, calling my husband to keep him posted every step of the way. Dr. DeLuca’s entire team—the transporters, nurses, nurse anesthetist and anesthesiologist—all made it a priority to be there for me and make me as comfortable as possible. I really cannot stress enough how much it meant to me to have such caring people by my side!” – Gina

“Dr. Davis, thank you for always listening to me, being patient with me and always taking the time to schedule appointments and talk to me while I work through my anxiety. You are the kindest and best doctor I have ever had. You have so much compassion for your patients and are non-judgmental. I also appreciate your sense of humor because it makes me feel better … I am so grateful to you and all of the nurses at your office. Thank you for all you do!” – Meghan

“Dr. Pirolli has been my husband's and my primary care physician for several years now. He has always been a great doctor and he has continued to make sure we are safe and well through the pandemic. He is our hero!” – Nancy and Chris

You, too, are invited to express your gratitude for your colleagues by sharing a story or making a gift in honor of an outstanding colleague.
