The Program Manager of Ambulatory Healthcare Asset and Supply Management will report to the Associate Director of Ambulatory Strategic Integration and will oversee the day-to-day management of assets and supplies across ambulatory healthcare facilities, ensuring cost efficiency and regulatory compliance. This role involves coordinating with clinical, operational, and financial teams to support high-quality patient care and inventory efficiency.

The Program Manager of Ambulatory Healthcare Asset and Supply Management will report to the Associate Director of Ambulatory Strategic Integration and will oversee the day-to-day management of assets and supplies across ambulatory healthcare facilities, ensuring cost efficiency and regulatory compliance. This role involves coordinating with clinical, operational, and financial teams to support high-quality patient care and inventory efficiency.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare asset and supply management, preferably in an ambulatory setting. Demonstrated experience in equipment lifecycle management, supply chain optimization, and vendor negotiations.

Knowledge & Skills:

Must be organized, self-directed, and detail oriented.

Must possess the ability to retain, build upon, and apply knowledge and experience gained through work-related interactions and assignments.

Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Visio.

Current knowledge of ambulatory operations, workflows, and related Cerner applications preferred.

Demonstrated initiative, creative problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential.

Strong customer service focus and ability to create and lead a work environment that promotes collaboration, teamwork, and innovation across services and the network.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies for the acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and disposal of medical equipment and supplies across ambulatory facilities.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to forecast asset and supply needs, ensuring alignment with patient care and operational objectives.
  • Conduct regular reviews of asset and supply performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Maintain efficient inventory management systems to optimize supply levels, reduce waste, and improve availability.
  • Monitor supply chain trends and innovations to enhance procurement and inventory management processes.
