Growth and Dedication at Inspira

Amy Mansue

Hello, and welcome to the January issue of Provider Inspiration.

I want to begin by saying thank you. In the midst of the now-dominant Omicron variant, we’re facing incredible challenges and stress. But each of you continues to show up and persevere.

Through these challenging times, keeping our communities safe and healthy remains our top priority. Currently, our hospitals, urgent care facilities, Inspira Medical Group practices and ambulatory imaging sites remain in a red designation in accordance with the New Jersey Department of Health, which means no visitors will be permitted, with limited exceptions.

I also want to remind you of the importance of getting vaccinated and boosted, when possible. COVID-19 vaccinations and booster shots are available at both our Mullica Hill and Vineland locations by appointment

For any Inspira employee who experiences symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you not report to work and email employeehealth@ihn.org with your name, date of birth and phone number. You can self-refer for COVID-19 testing at our Millville or Woolwich testing sites. In addition, employees may purchase up to four at-home test kits per week at our retail pharmacy locations in Mullica Hill and Vineland.

To share some good news, I’m happy to announce that Inspira Health and Salem County Hospital Corp. have signed a definitive agreement whereby Salem Medical Center will join the Inspira Health Network. The transaction is expected to be completed following review and approval by the New Jersey Attorney General sometime in 2022. This is a milestone moment for our organization as it furthers our commitment to increasing access to convenient, high-quality health care in South Jersey.

This month, we’re highlighting Inspira’s Medical Weight Management program, retail pharmacies and elective percutaneous coronary intervention options for patients. In addition, we’re acknowledging Thyroid Awareness Month by giving tips on how to look for thyroid disorders and when to refer patients to an endocrinologist for further evaluation.

Again, I thank you for your dedication to serving our community.

Be well and stay safe,

Amy Mansue
