Read MoreInspira Health is proud to announce that Brianna Donahue, Director of Policy and Government Affairs for Inspira, has been appointed to the advisory board of the Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs (WRI) at Rutgers-Camden. The highly regarded WRI exists to produce and highlight community-focused research and evaluation leading to sound public policy and practice in the Southern New Jersey region.
“We are incredibly proud and honored that Brianna was appointed to this prestigious board where she will serve as a subject matter expert on health care policy and social drivers of health,” said Robin Walton, Senior Vice president for External Affairs and Chief Philanthropy Officer for Inspira Health. “Brianna’s experience and commitment to improving the health of South Jersey communities positions her to be a valuable member of the WRI Advisory Board.”
Donahue’s experience in public policy includes representing clients in health care ranging from hospitals to physician trade associations to the NJ Legislature and the Governor’s Office. She joined Inspira in early 2024 to bring her policy experience back to her roots in South Jersey. Born and raised in Gloucester County, she has a deep understanding of the unique health care challenges faced by many in the region. Donahue earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Rowan University and plans to complete her Master’s Degree in Public Administration at Rutgers University-Newark this fall.
As a member of the Advisory Board, she hopes to shape policy that will increase access to health care and address other social drivers that act as barriers to good health. Inspira Health regularly collaborates with WRI on its triennial Community Health Needs Assessment.
“I am honored to be appointed to such an esteemed advisory board and have the opportunity to work alongside established colleagues and friends,” said Donahue. “WRI’s history is filled with accomplishments that have benefitted the people of South Jersey. They have played a critical role in conducting research and analyzing data on barriers to health care access, which then drive development of the public policy solutions we need in South Jersey.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome Brianna to the WRI Advisory Board,” shared Mavis Asiedu-Frimpong, Director of the Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs (WRI). “Her wealth of experience and knowledge will enrich WRI’s work tremendously. We look forward to her invaluable contributions as we continue to leverage the power of our research in and for Southern New Jersey communities.”
