COVID-19 Recovery Program
It’s no surprise patients recovering from COVID-19 are facing many challenges - including physical symptoms such as shortness of breath, continued loss of taste or smell, dizziness or headaches, cognitive symptoms including fatigue and brain fog, and mental health conditions like increased anxiety and depression. While physicians and patients alike are still learning about the extended effects of this disease, Inspira Health has developed the COVID-19 Recovery Program to connect patients who are experiencing persistent symptoms after COVID-19 to a network of specialists providing the most comprehensive and high-quality care available, based on the latest developing science and understanding of the disease.
What We Treat
Inspira’s COVID-19 Recovery Program takes a multi-disciplinary approach to treating persistent COVID symptoms including the use of physical therapy, occupational therapy, balance testing, cardiopulmonary testing, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and sleep studies to get you back to living your best life, fast. Our expert providers take special care in treating the whole person, not just the disease.
Eligible patients will have had persistent symptoms following their infection, including but not limited to:
- Difficulty exercising or a decrease in exercise tolerance, including shortness of breath
- Headaches, body aches
- Dizziness or vertigo
- Rapid heart rate
- Chest pain
- Cognitive conditions including memory loss, brain fog or mental fatigue
- Prolonged loss of sense of taste or smell
What to Expect
Upon calling our program, our COVID-19 Navigators will listen and evaluate your symptoms and help determine the best place for you to begin your treatments. They will then review any referral requirements necessary before you may schedule your appointment and finally will connect you with the appropriate specialist to begin your recovery journey.
