Inspira Health and the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team share a commitment to building healthier, more active communities across South Jersey. As the official health care partner of the Philadelphia Wings, Inspira supports player health and safety while working with the team to expand access to youth sports and wellness education throughout the region.
Together, we’re creating opportunities for movement, learning and belonging both on and off the field.
Since the partnership began, Inspira and the Wings have worked hand in hand to promote health, safety and youth development. Inspira’s presence can be seen at every home game, from the Inspira logo on the Wings home jersey to co-branded in-arena features that highlight our shared mission.
Inspira is also the presenting sponsor of Wingston, the Wings’ mascot. Wingston’s appearances across South Jersey, including special visits to Inspira locations, help spark joy for young patients and families while raising awareness of community wellness initiatives.
Sticks for Students, presented by Inspira Health, is an engaging school-based program that introduces K-12 students to lacrosse through hands-on activities, health education and positive encouragement.
During each assembly, Wings players and Wingston lead students through an interactive, Jeopardy-style lacrosse challenge. Students learn the basics of the game, experience movement in a fun and accessible format and hear positive messages about staying active and making healthy choices.
Each year, Inspira and the Wings deliver high-energy assemblies at schools throughout Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties. Students enjoy player demonstrations, games and opportunities to engage with Wingston. Families receive complimentary tickets to select Wings games to continue the fun and reinforce the connection between physical activity and community.
To help schools build sustainable lacrosse opportunities, Sticks for Students provides participating middle schools with a lacrosse curriculum, teacher materials and a full set of equipment, including sticks, balls and goals. This gives educators everything they need to introduce the sport during physical education classes.
For high school athletes, Sticks for Students fosters connection and team pride by offering complimentary tickets to Wings home games and recognizing local lacrosse programs during in-arena announcements. These experiences help strengthen school communities and celebrate youth athletes across the region.
Since launching the program, Inspira Health and the Philadelphia Wings have engaged students across South Jersey through hands-on assemblies, school partnerships and game-day experiences.
Sticks for Students reflects Inspira Health’s mission to empower healthier communities by addressing health, wellness and youth development where children live and learn.
The program supports Inspira’s 2025-2027 Community Health Implementation Plan by advancing the priority area Community Connections and Safe Spaces. By extending Inspira’s presence beyond our health centers and into local schools, Sticks for Students strengthens community connections and reinforces Inspira’s commitment to supporting children and families across South Jersey.
Sticks for Students is one of many ways Inspira supports healthier communities across South Jersey. Explore our full range of education, prevention and wellness programs that empower local residents to learn, grow and stay healthy.
