MAJOR FUNCTION:

The Electro Neurodiagnostic Clinical Coordinator (ENCC), under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director, is responsible for coordination of daily operations of the Electroencephalogram Laboratory. This position must value taking an active role in providing excellent customer service and have a passion for patient safety. The ENCC is responsible for performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties including providing input to policies, procedures, remediation, discipline and future hiring. This position will also provide guidance for the teaching, orientation and coaching of existing team members as well as students. The ENCC is responsible for evaluating personnel performance together with evaluations of equipment. This position will maintain superuser status for all equipment and applications and will be reliable as a subject matter expert for Electroencephalogram initiatives. The ENCC will be influential in the development, expansion and innovation of our neurology service line.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or HS Diploma plus 2-3 years of proven successful experience performing EEG procedures AND supporting clinical operations, through effective verbal and written communication, training, and coaching across all professional levels.
  • A graduate of a CAAHEP*Accredited program or complete one of the other educational pathways outlined by ABRET.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hospital and/or ambulatory experience in Electrocephalogram (EEG) testing required.

Certification/Licensure:

  • R.EEG T required.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) required.
