Technician, Scrub L&D (Certified) Per Diem - Mullica Hill - 6:45pm-7:15am

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Performs all clinical, clerical, and environmental services duties as directed by the Registered Nurse in the care of patients in Maternal-Child Health. Possesses the knowledge and skill required to provide the perioperative patient with the safest quality of care, according to their need. Assists the surgeon during the intraoperative phase under the direction of the Registered Nurse circulator and surgeon.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as unit clerk/nurses aid preferred.
• Ability to scrub for surgical procedures highly desirable.

Certification/ Licensure:

• BLS required.
• Graduate of surgical technology program or current CST certification required.
• LPN preferred.
