Lactation Consultant RN, - Delivery Room - Mullica Hill - PT - 8am-4:30pm

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Provides education for patients with specific disease entities using the process of assessment, planning, teaching, evaluation, and documentation. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective, efficient care and education. Complies with nursing standards of practice and regulatory bodies.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• BSN required for all new hires by December 2019
• RN, with 3 years medical/surgical nursing experience and/or critical care nursing experience.

Certification/Licensure:

• Current RN licensure by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
• Certification of Diabetes Education or critical care preferred. Current BLS (American Heart Association) preferred.
