Technologist, Mammography - Radiology - Elmer

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Performs screening and diagnostic mammographic examinations as prescribed by a licensed physician or practitioner utilizing radiation producing equipment within established departmental protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology with advanced education and training in Mammography.
• Two (2) years of mammographic imaging experience is preferred.
• Experience with Mammography Quality Control procedures and invasive breast procedures is preferred.
• DEXA scan imaging experience is preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

• NJ DEP License required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
• Advanced certification in Mammography required, CPR/AHA BLS certified required.
