MAJOR FUNCTION:
The Transportation Administrative Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the LIFE Transportation Manager. This role oversees vehicle maintenance scheduling and compliance, manages technology and equipment used by staff, coordinates payroll and reporting functions, assists in onboarding and staff education, and ensures accurate documentation for transportation-related activities. The coordinator also supports incident and grievance investigations, meeting preparation, and communication with staff, vendors, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain safe, efficient, and participant-focused transportation services.
As a multisite provider of PACE community-based services for seniors in Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties, an Inspira LIFE employee may work at either or both the Vineland or Williamstown LIFE Program as census changes or operational needs occur to meet the needs of our participants
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year working with the frail or elderly
- Previous PACE experience preferred.
- NEMT transportation experience preferred
- Ability to problem-solve and prioritize duties
- Ability to remain calm and responsive in an emergency.
- Knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to the transportation industry.
- Able to work independently and take initiative without immediate local supervision
- Multi-tasked oriented and possess good organizational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook,) and Internet
- Strong communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
