Honoring the Inspira Team

Hello and welcome to the March edition of Provider Inspiration.

Over the past couple of weeks, the world has watched events unfold in Ukraine, and the response from communities around the globe. My heart is heavy for those affected by this conflict—including our co-workers, neighbors, and friends of Ukrainian heritage, many of whom have loved ones in or near the fighting. I want our Ukrainian neighbors, family, and friends to know that Inspira is here for them. We have donated medical supplies and would like to remind you that you can access our Behavioral Health Services at (856) 575-4111 for support during this challenging time.

As we continue to strive for an environment that’s safe for our patients, staff and providers, I want to remind you of the importance of getting vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19. Governor Murphy recently signed an order to extend the booster deadline for health care workers until April 11. Appointments and walk-ins are still available at our vaccination clinics.

To share some good news, our visitor restrictions have now changed to green, meaning hospital visits are permitted with some limits and the Public Health Emergency has been allowed to expire.

I’m also delighted to share that, as a result of a randomized employee survey, Inspira has been selected as a 2022 Top Workplace. We know that we have work to do and I encourage you to continue sharing your thoughts on how we operate and the ways in which we can improve. Your feedback that we can celebrate these recognitions and achievements.

This month, we’re recognizing the importance of colorectal cancer screening and learning about at-home screening options; how a device called Barricaid helps patients avoid lumbar disc reherniation; how the GetWell Network provides education and improves the patient experience; and how our new Eat, Sleep, Console program helps infants recover from neonatal abstinence syndrome.

March is Women’s History Month, so I want to take a moment to honor the generations of women who came before us to build our community and shape our progress, as well as those today that continue to pave the way for us all. Thank you for everything you do

Be well and stay safe,
