Being pregnant was one of the happiest moments of my life! In the upcoming months, I will be sharing my own journey along with tips and help for you, in the South Jersey area, to have the best care possible during your pregnancy through Inspira Health.

3 things I wish I knew When I got Pregnant

1) That I could own my pregnancy

For me, it was hard, since I had just been married and was also new to the country, so researching was not something I really did. I just made an appointment with the local doctor and that was it!

I wish I could have owned my pregnancy and had more information and resources at my fingertips, which might have prevented some of issues I had, later in my pregnancy.

Inspira Health is the region’s leading network of health care providers, providing high-quality health services that improve the lives of all they serve.

Inspira Health encourages women to own their pregnancy; to own their experience! At Inspira, they value the importance of experience throughout the entirety of the process.

From high-end amenities to award-winning nurses, Inspira Health is here to provide the best experience for expecting mothers in a manner that is best suited for you and your family.

2) That being Fit = Being Safe

I worked out during most of my pregnancy, but I had no professional help in choosing the activity, nor sharing benefits/dangers of working out.

Yes, owning your pregnancy means being fit, if you so desire, but having a professional guiding you, along with choices

3) Eating For Two, Doesn’t Mean Eating For 10!

I’ve been on a diet since I can remember!

I was a size 0 when I got pregnant, so for me, it meant, open the doors to ice cream, desserts, fried food, everything I didn’t get to eat before the pregnancy!

Well, I did not receive a word of caution and ended up with gestational diabetes and 70 pounds heavier at the end of my pregnancy.

I wish I had what Inspira offers:

Inspira boasts award-winning nurses and the industry’s best SMEs. For expecting mothers, information overload during pregnancy can be overwhelming.

However, Inspira’s providers can help ensure that you’re making the right decisions along the way. Along with an experienced team of physicians, certified nurse midwives, Inspira also boasts key elements of care that help support you during your pregnancy journey.

I want to invite you to follow this new series where I will be sharing my own story, tips and above all, a better way to know what to expect when you’re expecting through Inspira Health.
