Inspira Health is a charitable nonprofit health care organization and a regional leader in physician training, with approximately 160 medical residents and fellows in 10 nationally accredited specialty programs. The system, which traces its roots to 1899, comprises three hospitals, two comprehensive cancer centers, several multi-specialty health centers and a total of more than 150 access points. These include urgent care; outpatient imaging and rehabilitation; sleep medicine labs; cardiac testing facilities; digestive health and wound care centers; home care and hospice; and more than 35 primary and specialty physician practices in Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem, Camden and Atlantic counties.

In December 2019, Inspira opened its new $356 million hospital, Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. Its adjoining leading-edge cancer center opened in early 2020. Smart Room technology enhances safety, efficiency and the patient experience throughout the new hospital. The cancer center brings medical, surgical and radiation oncologists to a single location, promoting highly coordinated multidisciplinary care, and convenience for patients and families. Inspira’s Cancer Program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons – Commission on Cancer. The Inspira Innovation Center, located across from the Mullica Hill campus, is designed to accelerate the development and implementation of leading-edge, patient-focused products and technologies.

Inspira Health is a High Reliability Organization, accredited by DNV Healthcare. High reliability organizations embrace a collection of behaviors and tools that have a proven track record of dramatically improving safety throughout an organization. In 2019, Inspira earned a national Press-Ganey Success Story Award for transforming patient care across its 150+ access points.

Inspira’s programs and services have repeatedly earned national recognition for excellence.
