MULLICA HILL, NJ (September 9, 2026)– Inspira Health is proud to announce its Medical Centers Vineland, Mullica Hill, and Elmer have earned national recognition from the American Heart Association (AHA) and DNV Healthcare, reflecting the health system’s commitment to delivering timely, evidence-based stroke care while continuing to expand access to advanced neuroscience services across South Jersey.

These recognitions reflect our teams’ dedication to delivering high-quality care, increasing stroke awareness and expanding access to life-saving treatments for our communities.”

The AHA’s Get With The Guidelines® – Stroke awards recognize hospitals that consistently meet rigorous, evidence-based performance measures to improve outcomes for stroke patients. Mullica Hill also earned the Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite designation for reducing the time between an eligible patient’s arrival and treatment with thrombolytic (clot-dissolving) therapy. Vineland and Mullica Hill also received The Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll for delivering evidence-based care to stroke patients with type 2 diabetes.
DNV recertification follows a comprehensive review of patient outcomes, clinical processes, care quality, and patient environments to ensure compliance with nationally recognized stroke care standards. Having first earned certification in 2021 and again in 2024, these recertifications reinforce Inspira’s continued commitment to delivering safe, high-quality stroke care across its medical centers.
Beyond clinical efforts, Inspira’s stroke program has educated more than 36,000 community members about stroke recognition and the importance of activating emergency medical services, improving awareness and access to timely treatment throughout South Jersey. These recognitions come as Inspira continues to strengthen stroke and neuroscience care across South Jersey. The Mullica Hill Tower expansion, opening in early 2027, will support expanded neuroscience services and Inspira’s advancement toward thrombectomy-capable stroke services at Mullica Hill, helping more patients receive timely, specialized treatment close to home.
