The Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses in Memory of J. Patrick Barnes

Inspira is committed to the meaningful recognition of our nurses through active participation in the DAISY Award program. We invite nominations to honor licensed nurses who consistently demonstrate exceptional skill and compassionate care. Each quarter, nurses from across Inspira are thoughtfully selected to receive this prestigious recognition, reflecting our ongoing dedication to celebrating excellence in nursing practice. Each campus committee selects DAISY Award recipients quarterly, and honorees are celebrated within their departments for their extraordinary care. Recipients also receive valuable benefits through The DAISY Foundation, including reduced tuition rates and scholarship opportunities.

The PETAL Award

Performing Exceptional Tasks Affirming Lives the Petal Award Inspira Health

The PETAL Award reflects Inspira’s commitment to meaningful recognition of the vital contributions made by our nursing support partners. This program honors the performance, dedication and diligence of team members who play an essential role in patient care and the overall patient experience.

Inspira welcomes nominations for nursing assistants, patient support technicians, physical and occupational therapists, social workers and unit clerks. Administered by the Nursing department, the PETAL Award recognizes those who collaborate closely with nurses to support patients and their families. In alignment with the DAISY Award, the PETAL Award celebrates individuals who consistently deliver a superior and compassionate care experience.
