About the Inspira Nurse Residency Program
The Nurse Residency program at Inspira, developed in partnership with Vizient® and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), reflects our deep commitment to nurturing the next generation of nurses. Through a comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum and dynamic, interactive seminars, the program empowers new graduates to build clinical confidence, strengthen critical thinking and grow into compassionate, capable leaders.
Over the course of this transformative one-year journey, residents engage in meaningful, mentor-guided experiences that bridge knowledge and practice. They build a strong foundation in evidence-based decision-making and implementation science, learning to translate research into practice in ways that sustain high-quality, patient-centered care. Residents also connect with peers through national benchmarking and professional networking opportunities, broadening their perspectives and strengthening their professional community.
The program welcomes full-time registered nurses graduating from accredited programs across all practice settings as they begin their first professional role, supporting them every step of the way as they progress along Benner’s Novice to Expert continuum, advancing from novice toward competence, confidence and the advanced beginner stage of professional practice.
