Today Inspira Health cut the ribbon celebrating its newest facility, Inspira Health Center Woolwich. The new facility collocates six services including Primary Care, Urgent Care, Sports Rehab Care, Imaging, Sleep and Balance. Sports Rehab Care is the first to open its doors and is currently serving patients. All other services will open by late Spring.
“The beauty of this facility is that a patient can see their Primary Care or Urgent Care doctor, and also receive follow up imaging, sleep studies or rehab related to their condition ̶- all without ever leaving the building.,” said Amy Mansue, president and CEO of Inspira Health.
Inspira Sports Rehab Care offers physical therapy services for treatment of sports rehabilitation, joint replacement and post-operative care, balance dysfunction, soft tissue injuries, back and neck pain, TMJ dysfunction and more. Our Sports Rehab Care Team includes: a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic PT and fellowship trained in manual PT, and a Certified Graston provider who is also LSVT BIG certified for the treatment of Parkinsons patients. Sports Rehab Care Woolwich is currently open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday by appointment. Hours may vary.
A highlight of the facility is an immersive experience called Ambient MRI located in the Imaging Center. The Phillips Ambient experience system immerses the patient in the visual and audio environment of their choice: beach, snow or under the sea. This is ideal for anyone, young or old, who might become anxious during an MRI study as it promotes active relaxation and positive distraction. The MRI system produces unrivaled images, in less time than standard MRI machines. The Imaging Center also offers CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, 3D mammography and DEXA. Opening of the imaging suite is currently pending the certificate of occupancy.
The sleep lab offers state-of-the-art equipment in modern home like rooms with personal bathrooms for comfortable sleep studies. The sleep center is managed by board-certified sleep specialists, offering the highest quality for all sleep testing needs. The balance center is located in the same suite and offers specialized balance equipment to diagnose the cause of balance issues within the vestibular system. This service is available by appointment. Opening of the imaging suite is currently pending the certificate of occupancy.
Urgent Care and Primary Care share a beautiful, spacious suite with a separate street entrance. The space is home to Primary Care physicians Dr. Bennett and Dr. Lotkowski. Inspira is actively recruiting a third Primary Care physician to serve in the space. Lab services will be available onsite for Inspira patients only. Podiatrists Dr. Flatley and Dr. Fought will also be taking appointments on select days. Urgent Care and Primary Care are expected to open this Spring.
