Dr. Ahmed Attia is a general and bariatric surgeon with an office located in Vineland.  

Dr Attia received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his surgical residency, and went on to obtain his fellowship training in Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA.  Dr. Attia is board certified in general surgery with the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery and serves as the Medical Director for Bariatric Surgery at Inspira Medical Center Vineland.  Dr. Attia performs sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, lap band removals or revisions and revisional bariatric procedures.

A south Jersey native, Dr. Christopher Bashian D.O. is Director of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. He is certified and proficient in Robotic Surgery, and is also board-certified in General Surgery, performing a wide variety of surgical procedures. After receiving his medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Bashian joined Inspira and completed his residency at Inspira Medical Center Vineland. There, he served as Chief Resident in his final year and was given the President’s Award in General Surgery. He then chose to continue enhancing his surgical expertise and completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive, Robotic, and Bariatric Surgery at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland. He also serves as an active leader in the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Bashian has now returned to his home of South Jersey to serve the community he grew up with.

Nauveed Iqbal, M.D., is a general, bariatric and vascular surgeon with offices located in Vineland and Bridgeton.  Dr. Iqbal earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University and completed his residency and fellowship training at St. Francis Medical Center. He is double board certified in general and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Iqbal performs sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, lap band removals or revisions and revisional procedures.

Harish Kakkilaya, M.D., M.S., F.R.C.S., F.A.C.S., is a bariatric surgeon at Inspira Medical Group Bariatrics Woodstown. He received medical degrees from Mysore Medical College in India, the University of Bombay in India and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in the United Kingdom. Dr. Kakkilaya completed general surgery residencies at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in New York and Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He also completed a minimally invasive and bariatric surgery fellowship at Northwest and Sinai Hospital in Maryland and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.

Catherine Mavroudis, M.D., is a general and bariatric surgeon with an office located in Vineland.

She received her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Georgia and completed her residency in General Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. During her residency, she also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with a major in healthcare management.  Dr. Mavroudis performs primarily performs the sleeve gastrectomy bariatric procedure.

Charles McCann, M.D., is a general surgeon with a minimally invasive specialty at Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University and medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr. McCann completed his categorical general surgery residency with Inspira and a Minimally Invasive/Robotic and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship with Saint Luke’s Health Network in Kansas City. He is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Derek Stephenson is a general and bariatric surgeon with an office located in Vineland.  

Dr. Stephenson received his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia followed by his residency training in general surgery at the University of Arizona Medical Center. He then further specialized his surgical skill by completing a fellowship in bariatric surgery at the Orlando Regional Medical Center.  Dr. Stephenson board certified in General and Bariatric surgeon.  Dr. Stephenson performs sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, lap band removals or revisions and revisional bariatric procedures.
