Read MoreNurses are a key member of every patient’s care team, supporting and guiding them through their health care journey. At Inspira, our nurses provide high-quality, safe and compassionate care to all patients in order to improve the health of the South Jersey community.
Our Approach to Nursing
Our Professional Practice Model (PPM) is the framework for our approach to nursing excellence and the foundation of our professional nursing practice. It represents nursing practice across all disciplines and levels of care, and aligns with Inspira’s mission, vision and values.
Components of Nursing Excellence
Exceptional patient outcomes are a result of our eight components of nursing excellence:
Nursing Research
Inspira Nurses use the Clinical Excellence Through Evidence-Based Practice (CETEP) model to guide their clinical inquires. Research is an integral component of nursing practice at each of Inspira’s Medical Centers.
Leaders of Inspira Nursing offer their own professional research experience to mentor staff nurses through the Nursing Research Council and one-on-one mentoring. The Research Council also works on research initiatives in collaboration with other health care disciplines, including residents and pharmacists.
