The OB/GYN Residency at Inspira Medical Center Vineland in New Jersey builds on medical school graduate education to help clinicians develop the skills they need to become successful obstetrician-gynecologists. Residents who complete an accredited OB/GYN residency are prepared for advanced patient care, academic or other specialized positions, along with board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
What Makes Inspira’s OB/GYN Residency Unique
Inspira’s OB/GYN Residency provides residents with learning opportunities that integrate and incorporate various patient care experiences and advanced practice settings across South Jersey. With comprehensive curricula and dedicated faculty, our residency programs focus on industry-leading research, cutting-edge treatment methods and safe, high-quality patient care.
Our OB/GYN Residency allows residents to train in a fast-paced, community environment and experience different approaches to problem-solving, a variety of practice models and diverse patient populations. Residents complete much of the program at our Vineland medical center, and training includes participating in the management of high-risk obstetrics in our busy labor and delivery department, learning to perform gynecological surgery and training at our outpatient clinical sites.
Our four-year, ACGME-accredited program is affiliated with the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. Boasting state-of-the-art operating facilities, including two Da Vinci Xi surgical robots and the Da Vinci Si surgical robot, our residents can practice using minimally invasive robotic surgical systems.
